USR_ORA_CONNECT_STR=/ as sysdba

However... it need "/ as sysdba" to connect
if check Oracle Docs: SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES parameter in the SQLNET.ORA should be set to ALL.

We are implementing the security plolicy for our client.we need to revoke sys dba privilege.when i used sql.authentication_services=(NONE).
sys dba account is unable to switch logfile and getting 1031 priviliges related error. same is with NTS setting.
we have different path for asm and oracle home.

There is confusing information about the db_flash_cache_file parameter. Oracle doc says it should be /dev/fioa1 etc. while some blogs say it should be a file. What is correct? In my case, /dev/fioa1 does not work.
I have RAC though. On two nodes I have two fusion cards (/dev/fioa). Do I need to create file system and specify a file name for db_flash_cache_file?

Hi

The log_archive_dest_n from 1 to 31 is for increased avalibility using standby database. With 11G you can have up to 30 standby database where in 10g you can have up to 10 standby databases for a single primary database.
